CONSCIOUS DESIGN

SUSTAINABILITY & ETHICS

At Óir & Grace, we believe jewellery should be created with intention, crafted with integrity and treasured for generations. Founded by Claire Staunton, a designer with a background in Product Design and a lifelong appreciation for meaningful craftsmanship, the brand was born from a simple idea: to create jewellery that connects people to place, story and memory.

Inspired by Ireland's landscapes, heritage and enduring traditions, every collection begins with a story. From the materials we choose to the partners we work with and the packaging that accompanies each piece, every decision is made with care, balancing thoughtful design, lasting quality and a commitment to responsible craftsmanship.

We know sustainability is a journey rather than a destination. As Óir & Grace continues to grow, we remain committed to making considered choices that honour both the craftsmanship behind our jewellery and the world it becomes part of.

OUR PROMISE

At Óir & Grace, every piece begins with intention. We create timeless Irish jewellery designed to be worn, loved and treasured for years to come, with thoughtful choices made at every stage of its journey.

From certified recycled precious metals and carefully selected manufacturing partners to responsibly sourced materials, independent Irish hallmarking and considered packaging, we are committed to craftsmanship, quality and responsible practices that stand the test of time.

Our promise is simple: to create jewellery with meaning, integrity and lasting beauty, honouring the stories it tells and the people who wear it.

ETHICAL CRAFTSMANSHIP

Every Óir & Grace piece is brought to life by skilled craftspeople who share our commitment to quality, responsibility and exceptional craftsmanship.

We work with carefully selected manufacturing partners who operate to recognised ethical standards, with a focus on fair working conditions, responsible production and transparent business practices.

Each design is the result of a trusted collaboration, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques to create jewellery that is made with care, integrity and lasting quality.

Recycled Precious Metals

Wherever possible, we create our jewellery using certified recycled sterling silver and 14ct gold vermeil. By giving precious metals a new life, we help reduce the demand for newly mined materials and support a more responsible approach to jewellery making.

Every piece carries a quiet sense of continuity, where materials with a history are transformed through thoughtful design and skilled craftsmanship into something made to be treasured again.

We believe beautiful jewellery should be made with care, not only for the person who wears it, but for the world it becomes part of.

Responsible Sourcing

At Óir & Grace, we believe exceptional jewellery begins with responsible choices. We carefully select manufacturing partners who share our commitment to ethical craftsmanship, responsible sourcing and lasting quality.

Wherever possible, our collections are crafted using certified recycled sterling silver and 14ct gold vermeil. Our manufacturing partner also works with responsibly sourced, conflict free precious metals supplied by LBMA accredited refiners and follows recognised international standards for responsible sourcing and material safety.

Every piece is thoughtfully designed and carefully crafted with respect for the people, materials and processes behind it, creating jewellery made to be treasured for years to come.

Thoughtful Packaging

Every Óir & Grace order is presented in packaging chosen with the same care as the jewellery itself. We believe a beautiful unboxing experience and a considered approach to packaging should go hand in hand.

Our jewellery boxes are crafted from FSC certified paper and cardboard sourced from responsibly managed forests. Designed to be fully recyclable and beautifully made, they are intended to be kept, reused and enjoyed long after your jewellery has found its place.

Wherever possible, we choose recyclable packaging materials and work to minimise unnecessary waste, ensuring every order reflects our commitment to thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship and lasting value.

Hallmarking & Metal Integrity

Every sterling silver piece created by Óir & Grace, including our 14ct gold vermeil jewellery, is independently tested and hallmarked by the Assay Office in Dublin. Each hallmark confirms that the sterling silver meets the recognised standard of 925 fineness, providing confidence in the quality and authenticity of every piece.

Hallmarking is an important part of Ireland's jewellery making tradition and a symbol of trust that has endured for centuries. As a registered Irish sponsor, we are committed to the integrity of the materials we use, creating jewellery that is crafted with care, independently verified and made to be treasured for years to come.
