Can I request a custom design or personal engraving?
At this time, we do not offer bespoke jewellery or personal engraving. Every Óir & Grace piece is thoughtfully designed as part of our collections, each inspired by the stories, landscapes and heritage of Ireland.
Are prices inclusive of VAT?
Yes. All prices displayed on our website include Irish VAT where applicable.
For orders shipped outside Ireland, local taxes, customs duties or import charges may apply depending on your country's regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price.
When will I be charged for my order?
Payment is taken at the time your order is placed. Once your order has been confirmed, you will receive an email with your order details. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
Materials, Craftsmanship and Ethics
What materials do you use?
Our jewellery is crafted from certified recycled 925 sterling silver and finished in either rhodium plating or a thick layer of 14ct gold vermeil, with approximately 2.5 microns of gold over sterling silver. Gold vermeil offers a rich, durable finish that is designed to last significantly longer than standard gold plating. Many of our designs also feature carefully selected freshwater pearls or premium cubic zirconia. Every piece is independently hallmarked by the Dublin Assay Office.
Is your jewellery sustainable and ethically made?
We believe in creating jewellery with care and intention. Our pieces are crafted using certified recycled sterling silver, and we work with carefully selected manufacturing partners who share our commitment to quality, responsible practices and exceptional craftsmanship. We also choose recyclable packaging made from recycled materials wherever possible, while continually looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact as we grow.
Availability and Pre Orders
What happens if a piece is out of stock?
If a piece is temporarily out of stock, you may be able to place a pre order, depending on availability. As our jewellery is crafted in small batches, please allow approximately 6 weeks for your piece to be made and dispatched. We will keep you updated throughout the process and notify you as soon as your order is on its way.
Can I reserve an upcoming release?
Selected upcoming designs may be available to pre order before they are officially released. If pre ordering is available, the estimated dispatch timeframe will be clearly displayed on the product page. As each piece is crafted in small batches, please allow approximately 6 weeks for dispatch. We will send you updates along the way, including tracking details once your order has been shipped.
Sizing and Fit
How do I find my ring size?
You can download our printable Ring Size Guide to help you find your perfect fit before ordering. The guide includes easy to follow instructions and helpful tips for measuring your ring size accurately at home.
Can a ring be resized after purchase?
Our rings are not designed to be resized. Altering a ring can affect its structure, finish and overall design, particularly on gold vermeil pieces. We recommend referring to our Ring Size Guide before placing your order to ensure the best possible fit.
What if my jewellery does not fit?
If your jewellery is unused, unworn and returned in its original condition within our returns period, we are happy to offer an exchange or store credit once it has been received and inspected. For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned unless they are faulty. Customers are responsible for the cost and safe return of any items sent back to us, and we recommend using a tracked postal service.
Shipping, Delivery and Returns
How long will my order take to arrive?
Ready to ship jewellery is usually dispatched within three to five working days. Delivery times will vary depending on your location and the shipping service selected at checkout. If an item is available for pre order, the estimated dispatch time will be clearly stated on the product page.
Do you offer free shipping?
As a small independent business, we do not currently offer free shipping. Every order is carefully packaged using premium, eco conscious materials and sent using a fully tracked delivery service. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination and chosen delivery method.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide using fully tracked delivery services. Delivery times vary depending on your destination, and international orders may be subject to local customs duties, taxes or import fees, which are the responsibility of the customer.
What is your returns policy?
If you change your mind, you may return eligible items within 14 days of receiving your order. Returned jewellery must be unworn, unused and in its original condition. For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned unless they are faulty or supplied incorrectly. Please visit our Returns & Refund Policy for full details.
Do you offer a warranty?
We do not currently offer a formal warranty. However, every piece is carefully inspected before it leaves our studio. If your jewellery arrives damaged, faulty or you believe there is a manufacturing issue, please contact us as soon as possible at returns@oirgrace.com with your order number and photographs of the issue. We will review each case carefully and work with you to find a fair resolution in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
Care and Maintenance
How do I care for my jewellery?
To help preserve its beauty, avoid contact with perfume, lotions, cleaning products, chlorine and salt water. Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping, and store each piece separately in its Óir & Grace pouch or jewellery box. For detailed care advice, please visit our Jewellery Care Guide.
What should I do if my sterling silver jewellery tarnishes?
Sterling silver naturally develops tarnish over time when exposed to air and moisture. This is a normal characteristic of genuine precious metals and does not affect the quality of your jewellery. With gentle cleaning and regular care, its natural lustre can be easily restored. For more information, please visit our Jewellery Care Guide.
Can my jewellery be replated or repaired?
At this time, we do not offer replating or repair services. Every Óir & Grace piece is crafted with care using high quality precious materials and is designed to be treasured for years to come. Following the guidance in our Jewellery Care Guide will help preserve the beauty and longevity of your jewellery.
Design, Story and Inspiration
Óir is the Irish word for gold. Combined with Grace, the name reflects our belief that true luxury is found in thoughtful design, lasting craftsmanship and meaningful storytelling.
